You must be prepared to provide the following items in order to get a Sheriff’s Deed:
* The Original Recorded Certificate of Sale;
* A letter of instruction, including:
* Court case number
* Whether or not there has been an attempt to redeem the property.
* The Grantee’s full name and address; Include Assignment if Grantee is different from original purchaser.#
* The full name and address of the person receiving the recorded document;
* The full name and address of the person receiving tax statements; and,
* Payment in the amount of $60, which includes $50 for conveyance of the property and $10 for the notary stamp. The Sheriff’s Deed can be picked up at our office or mailed certified with return receipt requested for an additional fee of $7.92.

Name and phone number of person to contact should we have questions prior to issuing the Deed.
* If the deed is to be picked up, name and phone number of person(s) authorized to pick up Deed once it is complete.
Please have photo ID.
* Signed by attorney or certificate holder.
# A court Order to Issue Deed is required if the deed is to be issued prior to the expiration of the redemption rights. If United States of America is a defendant the redemption period is one year.
