FIRE RESTRICTIONS LIFTED
As of 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 30, fire restrictions that impacted Lane County Parks were lifted and precaution levels reduced. Campfires are now allowed in designated fire pits and all trails at the Howard Buford Recreation Area are open to the public. Lane County Parks encourages visitors to remain cautious and aware of the potential for wildfire and take necessary steps to help us protect our open spaces.
LANE COUNTY DRAFT MASTERPLAN UPDATE AVAILABLE
The new 20-Year Lane County Parks Master Plan Update is now available! We are excited to release this first comprehensive update to the original 1980 master plan. This plan will guide the management of county parks from 2016 through 2036. We are seeking and invite public comment on the draft.
