A new, free property sales search tool
has been released by the Lane County Assessor’s Office.
“We are always looking for ways to increase the amount of information we can provide,” said Lane County Assessor Mike Cowles. “Sales data is requested regularly by real-estate brokers, appraisers, members of the media and others. We also expect it to be helpful to property sellers who want to quickly see what other properties in their neighborhoods have sold and for what price.”
The search results include property sales and transaction information for the last three years across Lane County, including deed type and transfer number, sale price, property class, tax account, and more. Search results can be easily downloaded as an Excel file.
Users can search by address, city, neighborhood, date range, price range, school district, or draw a line around a search area. Clicking on a lot also allows users to access a variety of other property data, including permit information, planning and zoning information, law enforcement and fire jurisdictions and more.
The tool was created by Lane County’s Geographic Information Services (GIS) staff using data already collected by a variety of public agencies. It is mobile friendly and works on a variety of web browsers.
To access the tool, visit www.lanecounty.org/AT
and select “Additional Property Information Searches” and then “Property Sales Search” at the bottom of the page.
