This vital alliance between local government and non-profits in our community is dedicated to helping our region’s neediest residents achieve stability, improved health, greater independence and a higher quality of life, while strengthening our communities.
To some, the work of the Human Services Commission and its non-profit partners is one of the best kept secrets of County and City government. But the impact is clear for the 73,806 individuals in 58,114 households who last year received help and improved their lives. (CY2008 data)
